Press release: Tender material for tunnel and station construction issued
9 October 2009: Today, four prequalified consortia will receive tender material for Cityringen civil works. The four consortia can now get down to working on their financial and technical offers for constructing two 15.5 kilometre-long tunnels, 17 stations, three tunnel building sites with shafts, and two further shafts.
Metroselskabet has invited tenders for two Cityringen civil works enterprises: One for the northern section (from Aksel Møllers Have via Nørrebro to the tunnel building site in Sortedams Sø) and one for the southern section (the tunnel building site in Sortedams Sø via City to Frederiksberg station).
Offers have been received from:
- ALPINE Bau GmbH (Austria) in consortium with FCC Construcción S.A. (Spain)
- Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau GmbH (Germany) in consortium with VINCI Construction Grands Projets (France) and Per Aarsleff A/S (Denmark)
- MT Højgaard A/S (Denmark) in consortium with HOCHTIEF Construction A/G (Germany), Ed. Züblin AG (Germany) and E. Pihl og Søn A/S (Denmark)
- SALINI Costruttori S.p.A. (Italy) in consortium with TECNIMONT S.p.A. (Italy) and S.E.L.I. Società Esecuzione Lavori Idraulici S.p.A. (Italy)
Metroselskabet expects that the successful tender will be annonced during summer 2010.
