Amager

Amager

Amager is Denmark’s most densely populated island, with nearly 200,000 residents. Despite its large population, Amager also has many open spaces and nature unlike anywhere else in Copenhagen. You’ll find plenty of opportunities for adventure and excursions throughout the island. The parts of Amager closer to the centre of Copenhagenhave many nice cafes, shops and the popular Amager Strandpark (Amager Beach Park). Amager has a little bit of everything, from expansive green areas to big skies and metro stations that are usually nearby.
