To and from the airport

The Copenhagen Metro runs to and from Copenhagen Airport at Kastrup. This makes the Metro the fastest and cheapest way of getting there from the City, Frederiksberg and Vanløse.

The Metro station is in Terminal 3, close to the airline check-in counters (SAS, Lufthansa, Sterling, KLM, Air France, British Airways, MyTravel, etc.) and the arrivals hall with its restaurants, shops, Starbucks, etc. With departures to and from the airport as often as every four minutes, you don’t need to plan anything in advance. The trip from the City to the airport takes just fourteen minutes.

Remember that the Metro runs to and from the airport at all times, including Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Prices
A single ride ticket from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre costs DKK 34,50. A three-zone multi-ride ticket with ten clips (rides) costs DKK 175. If travelling as a group or family you are of course allowed to share the individual rides on a multi-ride ticket.

You can purchase Metro tickets (and all other public transportation in Copenhagen) from the Metro ticket machines located in all Metro stations, including the airport.
